Hi, all,
I am interested in doing the informal ride callled Congress Roll on Saturday. Please see below. Anyone else interested?

The Congress Avenue Roll - Join other
cyclists rolling along Congress Avenue in an informal ride enjoying the
festivities and showing off our holiday lights. We'll depart from
Mellow Johnny's bike valet at 11th & Congress next to The Old
Bakery right after the tree is lit. We aren't a parade so stop for the
red lights and stay in the right lane. If you have questions, look for
a ride escort lit up with a Flashbak.

Help members of the
community by bringing a sealed jar of peanut butter for Caritas of
Austin. You can drop off your donation at the base of the Capitol
Christmas Tree
during the event.

Let me know.

Best,
Robert

How 'bout we meet at the Veloway at 8:00, do a lap or two, then do a harder warmup lap or two at the Autobahn, then do a lap or two for time, then mosey around some more and go home.  That should be about 40-50 miles.   I'm open to something else if anyone has any other ideas.  I need to be home by noon.

Hi, all,

I have a new chain on my road bike, so I would be up for a road ride.

At the same time, we were talking at the Velocity meeting about busting out the TT bikes and doing some TT-ish stuff down at So. Mopac.

I've not heard much about either. I'd be agreeable one way or the other.

Let's discuss.
