Four weeks ago it would have been hard to believe that three Dirt Derbys in a row would be canceled for rain.

The final Tuesday night time trial of the season is tonight.

Good on you for doing the 7 mile and finishing in the top half.   I wanna meet the woman who finished 5th.  Wow.  And Scott Sandford is, I think, 70+

We had one of the women fall in the final turn on Monday.  She ran and walked her bike to the finish line.  One rider directly behind her slowed to allow her to finish.

There are technicalities that might have DQ'd Kevin Frankenburger (36, Cat 4), but he was ruled to have won that round two weeks ago at the Tulsa Soundpony Street Sprints. He sprained his neck, separated his shoulder AC joint, and was unable to advance to the next round, so he DNF'd for the night.

I hate to say it, but I feel bad for the bike, too. Well, mostly for the Hed wheelset. And I wasn't able to find a report about the bike, which just seems weird.

If you should ever crash before crossing the finish line, Rule 1Q9 allows you to run with your bicycle along the course to the finish line.

Yeah, and I have to stop watching it over and over because it's starting to upset me. I guess I have to presume that they wouldn't have published this video had there been any serious injury to the Hed wheelset.

Priceless.

1P1. Judging. The finish of a race shall be judged when the front tire first penetrates the imaginary vertical plane passing through the leading edge of the finish line.

Somehow it seems that you don't have my best interests at heart

" Largest mourning dove on record shot near Lytton Springs.   Apparently, the dove had previously been held in captivity, as it was wearing glasses and apparently had been trained to ride a bicycle, though apparently not fast enough to excape the blast of a double-barreled 12 guage..."    Reminds me of the cartoon caption, "Yes lady, it's your deer.  You shot him fair and square, and I promise I'll leave him alone, just as soon as I'll get my saddle off of him."

A couple of years ago, I ride started the ACA Barely Hare ride, out of
Taylor, on opening day of dove season. There were shotguns going off
all around us as we left town.

Some of them may have even been shooting at doves.
