Tonight, I'm doing the BSSN Hill Ride.
Saturday, I'm working the Armadillo Ride packet pickup at BSSC at noon,
so will probably do a quick lap at Walnut Creek in the morning (9:30ish).
Sunday, I'll meet with the ACA President :-) at:
May 04 -- Meet, Eat, and Greet (aka New Sweden Shuffle) -- 8:00 am
Come out and meet the ACA club officers, ride with 'em and then grab
some chow with 'em after the ride. This ride will be great for
beginners and anyone interested in learning more about the ACA. We'll
have rides of 20, 44 and 59 miles through the New Sweden flatlands
north east of Austin. Meet at Dessau Middle School on Dessau Rd.,
between Parmer Lane and Howard Lane. Park in the lot BEHIND the
school. We'll grab a post-ride bite to eat at a nearby restaurant.
Mingle at 7:30, ride begins at 8:00.
Yes, 360 and Bee Caves NW corner, top of that big hill. If I get
there sooner I'll head a little further north and keep an eye out
for you.

Yes, it is. We can meet you at the 360/Bee Caves intersection (NW corner),
if you'll be coming up by bike. Meet you there about 6:05pm?
Is the duck pond at the Arboretum? Which way do you go? I'll be coming
from the south.

Yes! Can you meet us at the Duck Pond, or do you want to meet somewhere
in the middle?

It'll have to wait until after the Armadillo - I'm booked up with stuff between now and then. I think I made up a racing resume when I set up my website several years ago.

As far back as you can remember. No, that doesn't work either. I can remember stuff that happened 20 years ago, but can't remember why I just now walked into the study.

With the great results Velocity club members have been achieving I think it would be a good idea to add a Palmares section to the website listing the accomplishments in races and what-not. I think it would be a good advertisement for the club for people to be able to see the victories and podium finishes through the years. Thoughts?

Heh. I just thought of that same thing (as I couldn't find the race on TMBRA).

It doesn't say much, it's just a trophy! HAR! I crack myself up, sometimes!
:-D
I'll check it when I get home...

Good point! Maybe we could just list it for the previous N years.

If Gerry and Stanton are going to list all of theirs, Yahoo is going to have to give us more memory. Still, it would be fun to see.

I got caught in the Thunderstorms early Sunday and discovered yet
another reason to wear a helmet: HAIL! I should have checked the
weather, I had no idea.

I braved it in the car. Drove to League City to buy a kayak. The drive down was uneventful; coming back with a 16 ft kayak atop a 5 foot roof rack was interesting, especially whenever I passed over one of the higher overpasses.

Nah. I stayed in bed yesterday morning. I had to recover from the *grueling* 8.5 miles that Stanton put me through on Saturday. :-)
