They didn't actually let me finish it. I was pulled after 5 laps, out of contention, trying to chase down a couple of guys, and enjoying the lovely weather. Riders were placed if pulled by the officials, but not if you quit on your own. Would have liked to finish, but with other fields on the course, I understand the need to clear things out a bit.
I did, got smoked. Second race ever, felt a lot more comfortable than I did at Walburg, stayed in the mix longer, about 3 1/2 laps before my legs turned to lead. Muscular endurance limitation there, or something. It's a really fun course and I had a good time. Finished 24th out of 33. 2 points baby!
