Stan, I agree with you about Hamilton Pool Road. However, I drove out there last week and the whole deal from 71 to 12 and 12 from Hamilton Pool to Dripping Springs has bee repaved. Not chip sealed. They seem to have taken the new pavement to the far edge of the old chip seal line to the lanes seem to be a bit wider. Not much. And it may not feel so on a bike.
I plan to do a modified "Flog" on Sat starting from my house at 0800. I will to down 360 to mopac to SWpkwy. I will not go through Lost Creek. Should be about 48 to 52 miles, with no Hammer sessions.
