I'm wondering if any of you speedskaters might have a reccomendation for a good sports-orientated chiropractor and/or doctor of osteopathy.
My soon-to-be 15 year old son, Lex (a beginner speed skater) got hit by a car on his bicycle a little over a year ago. He also took a heck of a fall on his ski's last year, which could be a contributing factor: at the time we thought he'd broken his ribs . Anway, while at the beach, earlier this summer, we were very surprised to see just how assymmetrical his rib-cage still is, and are looking for somebody who might be able to work with him to get things back in alignment. Since moving to Utah, we haven't had the need for a chiropractor/DO, and really aren't sure where to turn to. I've had very mixed luck with them: some have absolutely worked miracles for me, others have been a waste of time and money. I'm hoping to avoid that trial-and-error process-
"In Network" for Altius would be a big plus ;-)
Thanks!
Ryan.
