A new year and a new sport.

Racketlon is set to climb to new heights in 2008 with the UK hosting the World
Championships for the first time in August (Doubles) and the British Tour going
from strength to strength attracting new players all the time.

Two events are now live for entry, the first two events on the British Racketlon
Tour! Both events look to be over subscribed so best to enter early! Also
advance payment is required and no shows will be suspended from future events
and players missing the payment deadline will face a late penalty charge. The
most recent addition is the Herts Open a one day singles event on 17th Feb.
Hatfield are also running a taster event for members which the racketlon
community is invited to on 10th Feb - 1-4pm.

At The English Championships we will have the English Racketlon Association Kick
Off Meeting, which will be an informal chat on how we can take the sport forward
in 2008 and beyond, all players are welcome and details will follow. Pls advise
if this may be of interest. It is most likely this will happen after the
presentations on Sunday 20th January EST 5pm.
