Should be a great tournament, slight shame on the timing as the other half won't
permit my participation, but hopefully those that do attend will get some
medals!

Even the World Champs is in the same racketlon vein with many categories right
from elite standard down to professional. Why not give it a go? Not to mention
how often you will get to say "I played in the World Champs and improved/got my
world ranking"

From specialists to allrounders, there is a game for everyone. Not to mention,
new years eve in Rotterdam?

The World championships Racketlon will take place in Rotterdam from December 27
until December 30. The Netherlands are very proud to be able to host this event.
Tournament director Marc Veldkamp expect not only a lot of foreign participants,
but also many Dutch to play their first Racketlon Tournament. "Racketlon is a
young but fast growing sport, with a growing number of Dutch playing also on the
international platform."
Of course we have with the World Championship the complete world top playing,
but the tournament is also for those who just started en those who are curious
about what racketlon is.
The tournament will take place at the multi-sports centre Victoria in Rotterdam.
"A top event on a top location. Victoria has all necessary facilities to host
big events and already hosted some big tennis and squash tournaments. This
together with the effort of all volunteers, Topsport Rotterdam and the financial
support of the sponsors guarantees a successful World Championship." says
Veldkamp.
The Worlds will have a big number of participants from many countries. Former
editions in Austria (2005) and Belgium (2006) already showed a growth from 9 to
12 and 12 to 15 countries and it will be about 18 this year. "We already have
all national flags reserved, so we are ready for it."
The Netherlands takes part for the third time at the World Champs and we are
ready to go for the last four to conquer the favourites Sweden, Finland, Austria
and Germany. The Dutch women have reached the top 10 in the world now and the
Dutch men have been moving up the world ranking and are ready now to challenge
the top.

four different racket sports : TABLE TENNIS BADMINTON - SQUASH - TENNIS. A match
