Ah well, in that case, I need to start the 'Where's Racketball? It's MY best sport' lobby.
And isn't it a bit grandiose to describe a TT bat as a 'racket'?
And as I mentioned to Keith, isn't it more of a 'parlour game' than a sport. :-)
So, Racketball, Squash, Tennis, Badminton with gummiarm replaced by a frame of pool anyone?
Viva la revolucion!

However good you get, you will always have a ‘profile’ ie be better at some sports than others. The issue with having a fixed order is that it favours those that are better at the earlier sports, so Racketlon is effectively about finding the best TT then badders then squash then tennis player – not about genuinely finding the best racket player in the world as per the moto:
To conclude, racketlon is more than just a combination of the world's four dominating racket sports. It has developed into a sport in its own right with characteristics, tactics and psychology that is difficult to find anywhere else. In short, it deserves wider attention on an international level. It is time to acknowledge that the world should not confine itself to asking "Who is the best squash player?" or "Who is the best tennis player". The question that now needs to find an answer is: Whois the best racket player in the world?

[TONGUE IN CHEEK: DON'T SHOOT ME!]
Doesn't worry me going into squash 20 points down; gives me a 1 point start by the time the tennis starts! Anyone who's that much better than me at TT usually can't hold a squash racket :-)
If you're good at all of them there's no problem. I'm new to this, but isn't that the point?
In response to: At the beginning of the match, either spin a racket to decide who chooses the first sport to be played, or draw the order randomly – much fairer method – if Racketlon does aim to find the best rackets player in the world then surely such advantage given to pingus, badders etc is distracting from this aim! Squash or Tennis first – wow! Not having to go into the third match 20+ points down – wow!
