I'm glad to see some talk on this list, too. I guess I've been hesitant to
say anything because I'm in the U.S.
Do those of you in the UK believe that horse racing interests more people
there than it does in the U.S.? I just watched a nice two-hour program
called "The History of Racing" on one of the American cable channels. I'm
just baffled as to why racing is now just a marginal activity to most people
in the U.S. when it was the number one sport for many decades here.
Has there also been a decline in interest in the UK and Europe, or is this
just an American problem?
