Hi, everyone,

winter is comimng. While it might be still warm outside sometimes,
it could be very cold. We may start to play indoor occasionaly. From
December to Feburary, we might need to play indoor every time.

Here is what we did last year :

First we ask who like to play indoor once it's cold enough.
Then everybody pay a fee to cover the court rental and balls. We
will buy some new balls every time we meet.

Our official meeting time for indoor is Saturday night 8:30 to
10:30. We will try to meet once on weekdays also. But that depends
on the conveniece of people who like to play.

We reserve some courts every week. Most time we will play doubles.
The cost is pretty low. We can get it under $5.00/hr. If 4 people
share it, it's $1.20 each. Usually we rent 1 hour and play another
hour for free. So the cost for one meeting is $1.2.

Also, so far our club is a loose orgnization. Everyone can come and
go any time. That's convenient to everyone. However, that make us
poorly orgnized. Sometimes there are more than 10 people come to the
meeting and sometimes there are only 3 or 4. To get us well
orgnized, we need a reform.

I'll devide our member into two memberships. VIP membership and
basic membership. A VIP membership means you come to our meeting
regularly, outdoor and indoors. And you pay a fee to cover the cost
of court rental and balls. Basic membership means you somehow are
interested in tennis, but you don't play often. You are welcome come
to play but you don't need to pay a fee. However, we will require a
phone number, a name and email address for all members. I have the

name as soon as possible. When new members join, I'll request a

About the fee : The first VIP member fee is $20. If that's more than
we needed for this year, I'll pass it to next year. You can give it
to me when we meet next time. I also need another VIP member to take
care of the money. We will post the financial information on the web
so everybody can see. If you are interested to take care it, please
let me know. By the way, the orgnization work is all volunteer.

The above reform plan is not final. I'll like to hear any
suggestions. If you have any ideas to make us better orgnized,
please let me know or let everybody know.
