In an earlier article in the Kilgore News Herald it was reported that they would play 48 regular season games. Twenty four at home and 24 on the road. There was nothing about how much season ticket would be.

Coppell school district is happy with the wooden-bat, collegiate baseball team playing on its baseball field.
The team in Coppell is a member of the same league as the team proposed for Kilgore. The Kilgore team owners this week had conversations with Kilgore school district about using Driller Field for its games.
The Coppell Copperheads of the Texas Collegiate League has been using the baseball stadium at Coppell ISD for several years.
Sid Grant, one of Coppell ISD’s business managers, said “everything is going great” with the team and it’s use of the facilities.
Grant said the games are more like a carnival atmosphere than just a baseball game. “They have a mascot and do a lot of fun things with the crowd to get things in a festive mood,” said Grant.
The Copperheads are under a long-term contract with Coppell, “If there is anything Coppell ISD on do for Kilgore Independent School District with contracts or any type of advice, we would be more than happy to help,” said Grant.
Jerry Roberts, KISD superintendent, was pleased to hear how well things were going in Coppell and Roberts said Jody Clements— the designated finalist for Kilgore’s Superintendent’s job—will be in contact with Grant.
Due to the Christmas and New Years holidays and the short notice, the district might need as much as sixty days to take care of the legal issues involved before the administration could come back with a recommendation to the board for action
“All of the contracts will have to go through our attorney, Randy Cook, before any final decisions can be made by the board” said Roberts.
