By the way, I can't believe I forgot to mention this.
Rose City Chili Cookoff 25th annual is this weekend at Tyler Market Center on 69 North, where they have Tyler Trade Days.
Public is invited Saturday and Sunday, $3 admission on Sat, free on Sunday. Gates open at 10:00. Lots of arts & crafts vendors, inflateables and bungee games for the kids. People's Choice vote for best chili along with the competition judging.
Bloody Mary contest, turn-in is at 11:00 Sat. Junior Division chili for age 17 and under, come cook chili for $5, turn-in is at 12:30.
I am still needing chili judges, especially for Sunday. Turn-in time is at 12 noon, will have 2 rounds of judging, first at 12, 2nd around 1:00.
Anyone interested, please contact me, othrewise, come on out and have a good time. Lots and lots of raffle items, poker run, showmanship starts at 11:00 on Sat. 10:30 on Sunday, come watch the chili teams put on their shows.
