Maybe there were too many [New York] Yankees and not enough Yanquis.
Also, maybe the YSA team needs to consist of AAA players with
something to prove.

I agree with Brent. The umpiring crew needs to be professional and
international. Just imagine a conference with Japanese, Korean,
English, and Spanish being spoken.
