Just finished reading this book by Mr. Lewis. I know
the book is about the Show and it is not directly
about the Indy leagues but their scouting focus is on
those young men who play there, college and high
school and recognizing their talents for what they
really are as baseball player and not the way the look
in a uniform (or their jeaans).

I think this is the future of baseball and will change
the money saturated teams viewpoints very quickly when
they aren't (and didn't) win anymore.
