Go ahead & contact him, but do me a favor & act is if all you know
is that he is interested in bring a team back to Tyler.

I should have asked permission before I posted his e-mail & he
seemed pretty secretive about the details of his ideas (that I did
not post).

So - if you contact him, just say that all I told you that he was
interested in returning a team to Tyler...
