I'm sorry but this may be an unwanted dissenting opinion. I like Steve
Maddock as a person and as a fiery competitor. But I have not been a
fan of his managerial style and his record is mediocre (despite a CBL
Championship with the Colts). I was critical of the many player
transactions during the Roughnecks 2001 season, moves which kept the
team in a state of constant flux and turmoil. Apparently, Henry Bruha
(owner of the San Angelo Colts) was also critical of the roster turmoil
for he sited limitless personnel changes in his reasons for terminating
Mad Dog.
I'm all for the return of baseball to Tyler. But if we want a good
manager get SEAN COLLINS!
