I know this doesn't have anything to do with Tyler Baseball. But I
noticed a WFAA-TV Sports spot that focused on the new baseball stadium
at TCU. It's a beautiful complex built at a cost of $7 million (all
donated) which is unrivalled in college baseball.

Also, the Wills Point HS Tigers will be playing at new Jack Lester Park
in Wills Point. I don't know the cost of the multi-field park but it is
truly nice. The first game is 6:30 pm, Tuesday, February 18 versus
Tyler's JohnTyler HS. Y'all are welcome to come on up to WP and help us
inaugurate the new park.

Of course, all of this makes me wish there was a new ballpark in Tyler
with a minor league team coz I'm not looking forward to the drive to
Frisco this summer.

Nontheless, it is good to know that people are still supporting baseball
around the area by contributing to the future of the amateur game.
