Description

The Tulsa Bicycle Club, (TBC) sponsors a year round program of rides and events. Our rides vary in length from 5 to 125 miles and in difficulty from very easy social rides to hard and fast tours through and around Oklahoma's green country.

TBC is involved in helping to develop bike paths, bike lanes and educate the public and our membership about bicycle safety. The club also actively participates in the design and organization for Oklahoma's state wide bicycle ride called FreeWheel. TBC FreeWheel Training Rides are held from March through May each year to help prepare for this cross-state ride.

TBC has 400 individual and family memberships. Many have the expertise and willingness to share their cycling knowledge regarding safety, ride routes, touring, as well as, bicycle equipment selection, maintenance and repair. If you enjoy bicycle riding, come out to one of our rides and see how much fun it is to ride with us.

TBC General Membership Meetings are normally held at 7:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month at Martin East Regional Library located at 26th & Garnett, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Non-members are welcome to attend.

The Link, the TBC monthly newsletter, is available to TBC members. Non members can only view Archive Issues of The Link.

TBC Members are encouraged to join this TBC Yahoo! Group. The group provides a way to get notification of updates on changes to the web page; release of each issue of The Link; changes to scheduled rides; notification of upcoming TBC events and other bicycle-related news in northeast Oklahoma.
