It's interesting really that dominance occurs when over 50% of our team is
unavailable and you suddenly have some college players from Duke...

When will this event be? If this takes place during the week of
July 30 through August 5 I may be interested.

I've heard there's a lost of interest in a beach ultimate game this
Saturday, so it is most certainly still a go. The weather forecast
says it will be in the 70s and sunny; perfect beach ultimate weather.
I will start setting up lines and cones in the area of 45th St. (3
blocks past where Atlantic ends) around 4:00 to get playing around
4:30. Parking can be tricky so I HIGHLY recommend carpooling if
possible, and arriving with time to spare. Feel free to come in the
morning or early afternoon to enjoy the beach beforehand. We'll play
for a few hours, then go get some dinner down the way.
Call me with questions and concerns.

shockingly it isn't supposed to downpour this afternoon. Jay

If anyone's interested, I've got two SEATS to Dave Mathews Band that I've got
to sell. Call me if you're interested (757-369-0095). Sucks to sell them, but
I've actually got some better plans, if you can believe it.

Hello Tidewater!
I'm back in the States and coming out for pickup tomorrow! My game may be a
bit rusty but I'm ready to play!! Can't wait to see you guys out there.
And Gus I should be able to make the pool party on Saturday too :-)
Teresa
I know you all have been waiting for this moment, the best "pool" party ever.
The Sinton Backyard adventure will be held next saturday the 1st of July. There
will be abundant games, food, friends and frothy beverages. The festivities
will start around 4, this will give us plenty of light to enjoy the outdoors.
The beer and fun will be taken care of, as well as some munchies, and meat. If
there is a certain item that you would like to bring, by all means it is
welcome. So, bring your appetites, friends, bathing suit and don't forget to
bring a towel.

I was hoping to get the beach ultimate scene started up again this
weekend, but there seems to be a lot of other things going on. So,
I'd like to plant the seed for playing 2 weeks from Saturday (July
8th). I'd like to play around 45th St. this time around 4:30, so that
the sand will be cool, or at least getting there as the sun sets.
I still have stuff to set up lines and everything, too. Anyway,
hopefully you're all interested. I will to rally the Richmond folks
and get them to come down and play, as well.
Will keep you posted.

I am new to the VA Beach area and play Ultimate. I was wondering if one or
more of you can e-mail me back and let me know about any pick-up games,
leagues, etc. I cannot make it the weekend of the 24th of June, but will try
to make others if there are any.

Hey all,
We decided on the field to push the Wed. Pickup in Norfolk to 5:30pm (from 5pm),
due to traffic and work realities.
The Sunday game is still at 5pm.
Great Wednesday turnout last week and on Sunday. The magical new
people/transfers are arriving.
Cheers, J
