I don't want to steal Chris's thunder here, but I think we all need to get out
today, since he went through all the hard work of putting this together. Let
the first night under the lights have a great turnout, bring your cash, a light
and a dark, and if you feel like it, your Halloween costume, you know you still
want to wear it!
Either Joe or I will be out there, unless any of you want to babysit!?!

Subject: [TideUlt] Wednesday Lights!
Hi, Tidewater
Sorry for the delay, but I had to work around my current class up near
Richmond.
We're set up for about a month's worth of lighted Wednesday play at Lakewood
Park (where we've historically played under the lights for the old folks;
directions to follow in a separate email for the new folks). Here are the
particular dates:
11/4
11/18
11/25
12/2
12/9
You'll note an off-week in there; November 11th is a no-go because of
Veteran's Day, and no one will be at work to turn on the lights (I tried to
bargain...).
The fields ended up being a little cheaper than anticipated, $65/night ($40
for the fields, $25 for the lights). We're getting this week as a "trial
run", so to speak, so I really only had to pay for four days; if we have 12
folks each night, that's about $5 per person per night. So-ooo...if you're
planning on coming out and can remember to bring some cash along, I'd surely
appreciate it! :)
If the weather's bad enough to cancel on any of those nights, I'll try to
send out an email in advance that afternoon.
That's all for now...any questions or concerns, just let me know, and I hope
we'll see a bunch of people on Wednesday night!
