Subject: Richmond Hat Tournament Nov. 17

Howdy all:
I am holding a Bok Choy hat tournament on Nov. 17 at
St. Joseph's Villa (the corner of Parham and Brook
roads in Richmond). Running time will be 9 a.m. to 5
p.m.-ish.
What's Bok Choy? It's three-way Ultimate. Teams 1,
2 and 3 flip to determine playing order. No. 1 and No.
2 take the field; No. 1 pulls. After the first point,
No. 1 sits and No. 3 comes on. The team that stays on
the field pulls (always). Your team plays 2 points,
sits one -- same rotation throughout the game. Play to
11 points. This is a great format for savage or almost
savage.
I may try to provide some sort of schwag -- a shirt or
disc as a fundraiser for two causes: St. Joe's (where
we're playing) and Tricycle Gardens (a community
gardening project, where you can grow your own, yes,
Bok Choy).
I'm trying to get a basic headcount -- I plan to have
about three fields, which means I can have about 120
or more. Please give me a yell if you think you'll
attend -- jlcooksey@....
