throwing we discuss on this site, which could be described as "spin
control" knife throwing because everything we do starts with either
controlling or eliminating spin, needs to see my video because it's
the only way we have right now to show people what it is we do. Of
course I am biased; I think every man, woman and child on planet
Earth should see my video and send me a check for a zillion dollars
apiece for it. Seriously, though, I would recommend the video over
the book. They are meant to complement each other. The video stands
alone but is also like seeing the book brought to life.

and read through the old threads and see if you can get answers to
any questions you might have that way. Or just ask again. This is
the best place for questions because other people might have the
same questions and that way everyone sees the discussion.

but personally the only targets I use on a regular basis are posts,
pretty much like what you have. I always tell people to get two
targets so you can throw back and forth between them and cut your
walking in half.

hand it is important to be versatile and learn to throw anything,
but on the other hand, I have learned the virtues of quality
equipment since Bobby Branton sent me some of his knives. They
stick in a lot more consistently and you end up spending less money
on them in the long run because they don't break.

Both spin and no spin throwers.... ) are rounds made out of logs of
threes of soft wood, like pinewood, for example. Also boards of
pine are good, David Adamovich (TGT, our friend and famous
Impalement Artist) uses a kind of wood named Douglas Fir (or
something like that), its not availeable in Brazil but looks that
its also a kind of pinewood...
