Yeah, I have the honor of having one, its great for his long range half spin style, but it Also work as marvell for conventional spin throwing, And for No spin throwing, also.
Its completelly different of our knives, its Long an narrow and Thick, I can throw it blade or handle untill 3 and half spins with great precision, I think if I use a set  in an American competition I would go decently!
Abraços, and thanks again Roy for the gift, its a piece of my small collection that I love a lot!

Joe

Thats a good throw, 100 yds.     I like watching that game, the pitchers are awesome.

That footage you saw Joe, was me throwing some of my light knives that I sent to Carl Geddes.
They are long, 13/5 inchs, but only in 1/8 inch plate.    If I remember rightly, they weigh 9 ozs.
Very easy to control the spin rate, easy on the wrist.     The knives I used after those were 30% heavier, and needed more effort to control the spin / nospin throws, although they were the same physical size, they were thicker.    Dalmo and Ralph both have one.    I have now had to shorten my knives down to 10 inchs, cause my wrist is weaker and it aches like the clappers after a throw session.    Now its easier again.

One day I might need a set of your "humming bird fart" specials.  LOL

 Thanks for that Mate!
I have actually sort of always preferred knives that were lighter but thinner as well although have had some throwers that weighed over 4 pounds (USA weight not British currency), the Cold Steel 14 inch throwers were a bit too thin for me and too wide at the end creating a fluttering effect at long distance throws.

I have seen what I consider to be some rare footage of your no spin technique Roy with you throwing some pretty good distances and you make it look effortless, I on the other hand trying the same technique (or as close as I could approximate) look like a wounded Giraffe with palsy!

As I used to Pitch in Baseball over here when I was quite a bit younger I could throw a 4 ounce baseball from goal post to goal post on a football field which would be a bit over 100 yards or 300 feet, I feel half of that or a bit better is still attainable but as I say the jury is still out on that one but we'll see what we see!
