Subject: blade thrower?

I'm having a little trouble sending messages from here, I think it's
straightened out.

I don't know if I'm qualifiref to call myself a blade thrower.
I throw by the blade with a 1/2 spin but only from 8, 12 and 15 feet.
I also don't always use the conventional blade throw, because at 12 and 15 feet
I extend my
forefinger onto the blade slowing the rotation in that matter for 1/2 turn.
At 18 feet I throw by the blade but for 1 1/2 turns.
At 24 feet and up I alternate blade and handle every additional three feet .
This is kind of moot because since moving to an apartment in Colorado I only
have space in the
garage for 18 feet.
We're in Parker Co. now and pretty well settled in.
Good luck to all throwers and I hope to see more of you at Carl Geddes Chucker
contest in the fall
at San Diego

Chuck If you can vary your distance for a half spin, even though it might only be up to 15ft, you are a true blade thrower. A Tip---open your garage doors for...

Another tip.. throw *INTO* the garage, not into the street - neighbors don't like that. :-) (Also, shine a bright light on your target, so your eyes don't...
