Hey all, Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July and the fantastic weather that it brought. Racing up here at Fitchburg is going extremely well, and I am now just eating my breakfast and getting ready for the final stage, a 28-lap criterium. To fill you in quickly, I have really exceeded all of my expectations thus far, and after the TT, circuit race, and road race, I have managed to hold onto 18th place on the GC, with about 95 riders having started the race. Never did I imagine doing that in my first Cat II race ever! And had I actually come in with some excpectations for myself and sought to be a little more opportunistic, I am sure that I would have been a few spots higher, possibly 12th or 13th. As it is, though, I am pretty thrilled, and now just have to survive one more day. See you all soon.
