A couple of questions about the Mambo pace line that are not
answered in the article.
The move from the left lane to the right lane at the back often causes
gaps in the right lane.
Some riders are able to close the gap quickly others not. In
both cases the surge causes a significant amount of energy to be wasted by the entire
right lane.
How can we make the transition more efficient?
If a gap forms how should we fill it safely, effectively (before
the energy is expelled) and without surprises?
