Mardi Gras Table Tennis Tournament 2003

Following on from the electrifying Gay Games VI in Sydney, Team Table
Tennis (in conjunction with Team Sydney and Mardi Gras) is holding a
table tennis tournament during the 2003 Mardi Gras Sports Festival.

The tournament encourages participation from recreational level up to
advanced level players and offers all players a combination of
singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

To enter the tournament, the following registration process needs to
be undertaken:

„X Call Helen on 0401 066 262 or 9588 3137 to register for the
tournament, and
„X Complete the registration details below & bring it along on the day
to the tournament venue or to Team Table Tennis on Wednesday nights
7pm ¡V 9-30pm @ St Lukes Hall, 11 Stanmore Rd Enmore.

Competition Details

DATE: Saturday 22 February 2003

TIME:  10am ¡V 2pm  (9.30 ¡V 10am registration & tables
available for warm up)

VENUE: Sydney Indoor Sports Centre ¡V Olympic Park, Homebush
	 (Call Bus/Train/Ferry line 131 500 for more ¡¥how to get

FEES: $15 for 3 events
		 $12 for 2 events  (CASH TO BE PAYED ON
THE DAY)

Hi All,

Our friends from Team Sydney are gearing up for the Mardi Gra Parade
and wonder if anyone wants to March with Table Tennis in Mardi Gra.
If you do contact the people on the e-mail below. Lets us know and
then we can watch out for you. Also the Mardi Gra Table tennis
competition is for Feb 22nd.

Greg went to the Parade meeting for Sydney sports teams on Monday
night and the organisers need to know by Saturday if Table Tennis
want to march in the Parade.

The organisers have the white cones from the Gay Games opening and
are planning o paint the name of the sport on them.

The theme song will be "O! Sydney" to the tune of O! Micky you're so
fine - you're so fine you blow my mind - hey Micky etc - you remember
the nember we did with the pom poms @ the opening!.

You can wear your Team Table Tennis uniforms or opening ceremony
uniforms and peope are encouraged to BYO pom poms!

tabletennis at the Gay Games and was wondering how to
get in touch with other tabletennis players from
Victoria.

It would be good to meet a few people before getting
to Sydney.

Hi there Table Tennis Fans,

Its great to see the enthusiasm from those who have got started.
Teamvic will be holding regular Friday night sessions. This Friday
(tonight)will be held at the Coburg Table Tennis Centre 7.30pm,
Corner of Murray and Newlands Road (Behind Pentridge).

Teamvic has a number of courts booked and we welcome every one of all
levels to join in. Its a great social night as well.

You can receive coaching from Teamvic's "resident coach" Gerdien, who
will take you through some of the basics, and assist you in brushing
down the cobwebs if you have not played for a while.

Cost is approximatley $3.50 and $1.20 for bats. Come on down and join
in.

Hi all,

Well last week it was great to see everyone get together and start
slapping those bats about. Just a reminder that Table Tennis is on
again tonight(Friday 22nd June)at MSAC at 7.30pm.

Again bats are available for hire if need be for $1.20 and cost of
entry is approximately $3.00 - $4.00

We also will have access to  Venues on the North side and these will
become available shortly.

venue,

I have spoken with a number of you personaly and we would like
to make sure that dates work for every one, so please advise me
ASAP if the 15th of June DOES NOT work for you.

The session will go from about 7.30 - 9.30 and we can finish up
with a few drinks and chin wag.

Looking forward to catching up with you all again, please be in
