Impromptu ride for Sunday - Yes, Easter Sunday.  This will be just a
long endurance ride (milage dependent on weather).  Meet at 1pm at MSU
Pavilion.

My shifter still has not come back from being warrantied so I still have
no rear shifting or brakes and I was not able to convince anyone to loan

Mondays-6pm MSU Pavilion (Recovery ride)

Tuesdays-6pm MSU Pavilion (Intervals-sprints)

Wednesdays-5:30 from MSU Pavilion or 6pm from Stillman
& Every Rd. (Fast Pace)

Fridays-6pm MSU Pavilion (easy-Moderate Pre-race pace)

Sat/Sun- Weekend Racing or scheduled training rides if
no race event.

This will be the standing Team Venom training schedule
through the summer. Also note, Thursdays are open for
those who want to do the FunTyme ride, though an off
night in there is a necessity to be determined by
individual schedules.

Any exceptions to this schedule will be posted to the
list. If you don't hear otherwise, assume these rides
are on every week.

I'll be racing Saturday in the B race and want to be
there by 11 at the latest. We should plan on leaving
Lansing at 9:30, earlier if anyone is doing the C
race, but I don't think that's the case. I'm in for
car pooling. I can drive 4-5 people, but no bikes
(maybe 2 bikes if we're going to need it).

I would like to have an idea of how many Team Venom / Holt Pro Cycle
guys are riding at Waterford this weekend.  Cat 5 TVC/HPC riders
remember, we need these 3 Waterford races under your belt to get moved
up before season really gets rolling.
Anyone else from Lansing area going can get in on car pooling.  Please
respond with your intentions.

Craig Webb wanted me to add to the lists that the
Thursday night FunTyme ride will be starting this
week. For those that haven't done it before, this ride
is as close to a race as you can get without promotors
and prizes. Come ready to hurt :)

We meet at FunTyme in Mason (on Cedar St just South of
College Rd.), some ride from the MSU Pavilion down
College Road to Funtyme.  This ride is app 40 miles
with six sprints along the way.

I haven't heard any solid plans yet for the Saturday
morning ride to the race in Dansville, so I'm making
some.

Plan on leaving from the Pavilion at 8:00 AM Saturday
morning, which should give us plenty of time to cover
the 20 miles to the school in Dansville by 8:45 when
they want volunteers there. The route will be College
-> Sandhill -> Stillman -> Every -> Dansville -> Adams
in case anyone needs to chase late.

John,
  Do you want to meet us at the Pavilion, and maybe we
can throw gear bags in the truck? I'm envisioning
standing around in chilly rainy weather in lycra and
cycling shoes, and it doesn't sound good!

Let me know what you think and if you plan on doing
this ride.

We are planning a training ride from MSU Pavillion at 1:00pm.  Try for

Hey Guys,

I know an email was sent out about this but I dont think that CMU will
be participating in the MSU race this year because of the dirt roads.
Most racers and our coaches are not too fond of the idea of a peleton
going down a dirt road at 20mph. But we are thinking of doing an
alternative ride in the Eaton Rapids Charlotte area that day for some
training. If any of you are interested let me know, you are welcome to
join us.
