LUNA ROAD RIDE: DeAnza Cove Mini Tri

Location: Meet in the DeAnza Cove parking lot.
(Take I-5 to the Clairemont Drive Exit, head West to East Mission Bay Drive,
then right to North Mission Bay Drive. This road goes into the parking lot of De
Anza Cove. Parking is free in these lots.)

We will be swimming in the cove and biking on Fiesta Island. The run will be on
the bay.

Bring your wetsuit (if you chose to wear one), googles, swim cap, and towel. For
the bike you will need your helmet, bike shoes, and bike! For the run please
bring your running shoes. This is a great time to try out any new gear you may
have.
Laura will be at De Anza Cove to watch bikes during the swim and run.

Breast Cancer Awareness Ride by El Camino Bike Shop

If you watched the Charger, Steelers game last Sunday you saw the kickoff of
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with all the players
wearing pink. This week is a Bye week for the Chargers, so with the extra time
how about coming out on Saturday for our Trekwomen Breast
Cancer Awareness Ride.

The ride starts at 10am in the front of El Camino Bike Shop, with a goal to
raise awareness and fund breast cancer research. All
registration fees are donated directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
- www.bcrfcure.org
