We are just two weeks away from San Diego Team LUNA Chix's big fundraiser that is not be missed! Please stop by for an hour, or stay the whole evening!...It'll be a ton of fun for a worthwhile cause...to support the Breast Cancer Fund, a non-profit organization who identifies and advocates for elimination of the environmental and other preventable causes of this disease.
You are cordially invited to attend the Fourth Annual Dancing the Night Away event on Saturday,
August 23rd from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at long-time LUNA supporters' home, Tony and Sue Farrow, at 3520 Ridgecrest Drive, Carlsbad, just off of Carlsbad Village Drive. It’s the fourth year the San Diego Team LUNA Chix is sponsoring the “Dancing the Night Away” fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF).
Last year we were blown away with the generosity of our friends and the success of the event. We raised over $7,500 for BCF, which brings us to over $16,000 over the four years since we formed the team! This year’s event includes:
- Coastal Eddy is back for the forth straight year providing live music, where you can enjoy the entertainment or dance the night away.
- Back by popular demand are David and Ingrid, who will be giving salsa lessons to all interested parties.
- We have a new caterer this year, from
Carlsbad - And don’t forget the Silent
Auction. The Luna Chix team have been busy gathering great auction items from some very generous businesses about town. Bella Dora Spa of Carlsbad providing their Signature Duo Package worth $260 to name one.
- Stone Brewery has not only donated a World Bistro dinner-for-2 gift certificate for the Silent Auction, they also donated 4 cases of their special brew!
