With more than 100 screenings nationwide, LUNAFEST, hosted by Clif
Bar/Luna, a traveling film fundraiser for Breast Cancer Fund, kicks
off its seventh year with a full season of new short films by, for and
about women. Team LUNA Chix - San Diego along with local LUNA Bar
reps are hosting this year's film festival at the historic downtown
Encinitas La Paloma Theatre on Coast Highway 101. Showtime is at 7
p.m. with the City of Encinitas Deputy Mayor Maggie Houlihan to
kick-off the film festival. Besides the nine selected diverse short
films from quirky animation to touching documentaries, we'll have
great raffle prizes and other freebies. We are also working on a deal
with the next door "D" Street Bar & Grill to host a happy hour
reception benefit before the event. Please mark your calendars for
