Hmmm, big bummer. I'm glad you pointed it out! You can always look
at the website for information too. www.seattletrilunac hix.com.
Here are the details:
July 2, 2008 @ 6:15 pm
Mini Triathlon
Where:
Seward Park
Special note: Parking is difficult at Seward Park and the lots fill
up early. Please allow yourself enough time to find a spot on the
street if necessary. We want to be in the water at 6:15 pm!
Meet At:
Meet in the field behind the lifeguard tower.
Workout Description:
Hi Ladies!
We hope you're ready for our first mini-tri of the season. We know
it's close to the 4th of July, but motivate yourself to come to this
workout and that weekend you'll have a great excuse to take it easy
and enjoy the 4th of July festivities. Please be ready to get in the
water at 6:15 pm.
This is your chance to practice a triathlon and transitions without
going the full distance. Make it what you want! Unfortunately, we
won't have bike racks available. We will have someone there to watch
your stuff, so you can really practice those transitions. As always,
we will have bars and other goodies available after the workout.
Preliminarily, we'll have the following workout options. Workout
plans may vary based on abilities/levels in attendance.
Swim - 1/4 or 1/2 mile options (out and back once or twice to the
boat buoy)
Bike - 6 or 8 miles out-and-back on Lake Washington Blvd
Run - 2.3 miles on lower loop of park
What to bring:
Bring all the stuff that you use in your triathlons.
Please contact the workout leader, Karra, for more information. You
can e-mail her or call her cell at 425/443-0577.
