It was the MTB TLC leader who I think sent it out over
SeaTri. If you or anyone else wants more info on this, buying ski tickets
at a group discount, they can e-mail Susan at sclementson@...
(she's also on this list, so she may respond to this).
That's great about doing Pacific Crest! I think
there are some women on this list who have done that (Kris), so they can give
you the full scoop. Maybe you can find some people here who will start
doing longer (and rainier) rides with you this winter! I am having some
motivation issues....
Happy training!

I seem to remember you sending an email out about buying ski tickets as a group… I can’t find your email on that, do you have it somewhere and can resend to me??? Thanks,
Christa Tinker PS I joined Team in Training to do the Half Iron in Bend in June, I am excited to get back to training with you all as well; I need some serious improvement on my cycling!

Hi - I wanted to pass this on in case anyone was
interested. As you know, one of our goals this year
was to raise money for Breast Cancer Fund, a
non-profit whose mission is to identify and to
eliminate the environmental and other preventable
causes of the disease. Many of you heard Pam Tazioli,
the local BCF representative, speak at our nutrition
clinic in August. This is a chance to learn more
about the link between cosmetics and cancer, should be
good.
See below note from Pam...
Hi everyone
I want to let you know about an upcoming event hosted
by Breast Cancer Fund and the Toxic-Free Legacy
Coalition.
The Safe Cosmetics Forum will be on Thursday, November
10, from 6:00 – 9:00pm at. It Swedish Medical Center
is free and open to the public. You must RSVP, as
seating is limited.

Please see the attached flyer for more information and
feel free to distribute this to others who might be
interested.
Come and learn about the ingredients in our personal
care products, and what we can do to insure they are
safe.
