Some of you have already seen this on SeaTri, but I
thought I would pass it on to the rest of you.
Michael Ross (aka DrTri) is someone who I've worked
with before. He is knowlegable and
opinionated...which makes for good learning. I hope
everyone is enjoying some rest after a long season.
Take care! LaVonne

This is a very last minute reminder for the free
seminar at the new RoadRunner Sports Store at
GreenLake.
Wednesday Oct 26, 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
RoadRunner Sports
7020 WoodLawn Ave NE

I will be presenting a one hour "class" on Performance
Nutrition (Part I) and Off-Season Training (Part I
also) for Multi-Sport.
This may be a review for my athletes, but a good
review of the essentials for both subjects.
Performance Nutrition starts in the kitchen and
requires that you read labels on the food/fuel that
you are putting in your body/engine 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, 364 (only 364 because Halloween candy
doesn't count, does it?) days a year. Especially
during the recovery phases. We will cover what this
means in a practical application, and what can you
start doing right away.
Off-Season training makes the difference between a
good "race" season and an awesome "race" season next
summer. The hours of cranking away at the levers
demands that you do your homework during the winter
and build a strong fulcrum in order to be awesome next
summer. All hoopla about "the core" aside; What does
that really mean? What should you start doing now?!?
The only catch is that RoadRunner Sports hopes that
you won't be able to resist the temptation to buy some
rad winter workout gear while you are there...
Seriously, this will be a very fun and informative
hour.
See you there,
DrTri
(Michael Ross DC, CSCS)
