Hi Ladies,
Most of us want to drop a few pounds! The off season is the best
time to do it. I am told that you want to deprive yourself of
calories to loose weight during the off-season, while you're doing
long, slow distance training. During the season when things are at a
higher intensity, you don't want to deprive yourself because you need
to replenish the calories burned at a higher intesity so you can
recover. At least that's the theory!
Anway, thanks to Jessi Hayden-Spear who pointed me in the direction
of this fabulous resource! I'm just getting started with it, but so
far I've found you can type in what food you ate and it will give you
the nutritional breakdown. Plus, you can add in foods they don't
have (like the LUNA Bar I just ate!). It will track your calories,
fat, protein and carbohydrates for the day. It's awesome!
Anyway, it's called FitDay, and here's the URL:
http://www.fitday.com/
And it's free!
Take care,
LaVonne
