What area are you in? I can vouch for both Waterfront Physical Therapy in
Edmonds and Washington Institute of Sports Medicine in Kirkland (Totem Lake).

RE: [TeamLUNAChix] Re: ***QUESTION ABOUT A PHYISCAN***

As a physical therapist and a naturopathic physician, I would also recommend you try to see a PT. If you do see an ortho doc, he/she will most likely refer you to PT anyway. Without knowing exactly what is going on, I can say that it does sound like you may be doing too much, too soon. We forget that even if our lungs and muscles are in good shape, our joints sometimes need a slower re-introduction to exercise. And, whatever you do, make sure you are stretching!!!! If you don’t know how/what to stretch, this is another thing a good visit with a PT will be good for J

I don't have a doctor recommendation, but I can recommend the
physical therapists at the ProClub (both Seattle and Bellevue). I
am also dealing with pain around my knee, which has turned out to be
a hamstring issue.

Good luck...
