Fitness and Nutrition: They Work Best Together!

Team LUNA Chix is teaming up with Julie Church,
Registered Dietitian, to offer you information and
resources regarding fitness nutrition. Nutrition is an
essential component for anyone aiming to reach fitness
goals - it’s fuel for our body’s movements and
mechanisms. Plus, when we are well fueled we enjoy
exercise much more—adding fun to our fitness! This
class will offer handouts and resources for further
learning on the topic, and question/answer time. We
will cover:
· Fueling and Re-fueling for Training and Competition
· Timing for Optimum Nutrition
· Clarification of the Carbohydrate Confusion
Cost: $20 donation to Breast Cancer Fund

our clinics fill up quickly.
We will also have a special guest speaker, Pam
Tazioli, from Breast Cancer Fund talking about what
they're doing. PLUS, free produce from Pioneer
Organics!
The clinic is taught by Julie Church, Registered
Dietitian, working in private practice in Seattle’s
Fremont neighborhood. Julie has worked with
collegiate athletes, marathon runners, and regular
exercisers to ensure nutrition needs are met for
enjoyment and performance. Julie specializes in work
with eating disorders and has worked in settings
including community health clinics, public health
centers, universities, counseling centers, and private
practice. She enjoys speaking to groups who are
enthusiastic about nutrition and physical health.
