Thanks Tammy …this is the kind of
feedback I am interested in hearing from women who have done this.. I had some
concerns after reading the article as well. Part of me feels you get what you
get on race day deal with it. It’s easy to say and not so easy to deal
with . It also scares me to start messing with my hormones, it’s bad
enough as it is J
Thanks,
Jill

Did you know you have menstration options?
Yes, you can always opt to skip the period if you're
using a pill... just don't take the week of sugar
pills. I feel after reading the article that some
caution should be voiced. I recently took a 4-month
break from birth control, and when I went back on it,
I noticed a big change..... extreme fatigue &
depression. These are symptoms that one may take for
granted if they aren't aware it's coming from their
birth control.
I did the depo preva quarterly shot for YEARS and
didn't have a period at all, until I found out it was
linked to fatigue and higher cancer risks (my doc
never told me that). Just some things to keep in mind
as we start playing around w/our hormones.
Thanks!
