I used a time tested true PTFE chain tube... 1/2" ID x 1/16" wall that
is used on Actionbent bents. After 2 years+, not a single scratch
inside the tubes; flexible; quiet; and super tough... slicker-n-sn@t.
The only place that advertizes Teflon chain tubes is Hostel Shoppe. I
haven't seen it so I can't say if it is the same or another hybrid
mix. Their price is about right for what true PTFE tubing would cost.
The goal was to minimize chain tattoos. I commute in slacks and full
length tubes is the only way to go [for me].
