I test rode a new 700 yesterday and it had Twist Grip shifters vice
the bar end shifters that the Catrike website specs out the 700 with.
Does an '07 700 come with bar end shifters or twist grips?? Is
changing over to bar end shifters all that big of a deal?? Thanks for
the info!! I also tested a new Expedition and it had bar end
shifters, a mirror, and a little more comfortable riding position but
the boom would have to be cut shorter for my leg length and the Ex was
definately heavier and slower than the 700. I don't know which one to
get. I like the speed of the 700, but the comfort of the Ex (and I
think a 650C wheel could be fitted on the Ex vice the 26" one that's
on it now and some narrower front rims and tires to lessen the weight
and make the trike faster - possibly as fast as the 700??)
