RE: [TacticalLRShooting] Sorry about the Vote...

Chuck,

Thank you for the note.

As for NCPPRC going backwards that will be a negative.  Shawn and I both want and will move forward to further grow the club and discipline.

Cowboys have their own insurance already and consider themselves seperate from FSC.  They belong to SASS and have their own board for each of their clubs, 6 total.

IDPA and IPSC, 3 GUN will basically break off and do their own thing as well.

In order to fall under FSC we would have to hand over complete control of our assets and funds.  Shawn and I both pretty much agreed that option is a no go.

The tactical long range monthly match is one thing but NCPPRC is entirely built from the ground up by Shawn, our supporters and myself.  The only thing FSC owns is the rail road ties our storage box sits on.  Our club has been funded out pocket by Shawn, our supporters and myself.  We have thousands of man hours and dollars invested.

We will incorporate and be our own club.  Besides our logo is way too cool.  LOL

Subject: [TacticalLRShooting] Sorry about the Vote...

Guys -

I am sorry that you guys didn't get the results you wanted out of the
elections. But you did get their attention, the personal letter I
(and I'm sure everyone else) received was evidence of that. Perhaps,
you can get what you are looking for easier now, or at least be heard
better. I fully admit to not being up on all the issues, so I may
just be talking out of my butt....

I was also sorry to hear that the NCPPRC is going to have to make
some major choices to be able to use the club's facilities. Is there
a way to move backwards a bit so that the group is treated more like
the Practical Pistol and Cowboy Action groups? I get the impression
they are more like sanctioning bodies for the competitions, rather
than separate clubs with officers, dues, etc. Again, I am only able
to occasionally partake of the good work Vu and you other guys do, so
there may be more at stake here than I am aware of. But I do know
that trying to find another place to shoot within the radius of the
Club to Sacramento is pretty much out of the question. Again, is
there a compromise that might work? I am looking forward to trying
my shaky hand at the silhouette shooting on the second Saturdays of
the month...

As a side note, I'm not able to get into the web site forums anymore,
for some reason. Most importantly, I don't remember my username or
password! That might have something to do with it. If one of the
sysops for the forums could get in touch, I'd appreciate it.

Hang in there - when shooting becomes too political, it stops being fun!

Chuck
