Thanks for the link.my friend is building a riffle in this caliber and he ask me if anyone in the group knows or heard anything about this new .338 Norma, below is an email from him with a little infomationabout what he knows about this cartridge.

It's a new cartridge that's being producted by Norma (Jimmy Sloan design) so that's why not too many people know about it. Only Black Hills Shooters Supply is distributing the brass. It's going commercial at a rapid pace and is essentially going to bypass the 338 Lapua once it gets out and known a little more. I just wanted to know if someone has played with the cartridge or did a little research on it yet.
Some people might confuse it with a necked up 308 norma mag....but it's a totally different cartridge....essentially a necked down shortened and fattened version of the 338 lapua.
