Gary,

The bids are supposed to be by city. However, teams
have submited those bids, and there are still open
slots in the bracket. I am supposing that with the
World Tournament in Vancouver---an easy USA travel,
perhaps this tournament is in need of teams to
complete the field.

SO, Check with the players you are thinking of... and
put a roster together! But, be sure you have players
committed. It would NOT be a god thing to say we can
play and NOT show up!

If you can get people to commit to the travel, we can
committ to fund raising to cover the tournament
expense. I will dig around for the financial
information, but we spent about $600 per player in
2006 to make the trip.
