Ultimate is becoming more and more popular as a way to
spend free time among Texas youth. UPA Certified
coaches are background checked and will be recommended
to meet the requests of many organizations who are
introducting Ultimate to their youth population.
Some schools in Texas offer paid positions for
coaching intramural and interscholastic Ultimate.
Some request just an hour or two of instruction to
meet badge requirements (boy and girl scouts) on a
volunteer basis.

The UPA and Texas, Ultimate! are moving toward
sponsoring competition for high school-aged players on
the State Level in the spring. If you are interested
in learning more about how to teach and coach
Ultimate, and interested in volunteering to spread the
'Spirit of the Game" through out the state of Texas,
please register and attend the UPA Coaching Clinic in
Austin.
