...was a tremendous success! THANK YOU to all who
played, and to those who helped teach and coach. The
final game was a nail bitter! LBJ scored an early
upwinder at 5-3, and Keller spent the entire second
half trying to match that feat. The final point must
have lasted 20 minutes! Incredible throws and
fabulous D was demonstrated by every player on both
teams. Finally, after a time-out to reorganize. LBJ
scored to win the game 13-11. I was impressed with
the spirit of all the players, the leadership of the
captains, and the improvement that was shown in skill
and strategy over the course of the day. I look
forward to a bigger and better event in the fall!
