Right now there IS no STATE tourney. When i asked
the players in Texas, there was not enough
response...you are only the third team #3 to say they
wanted to play. Polls closed on February 25th.

We have canceled the field space for April 7th in
College Station on April 7th.

Further, not many youth from Texas are card-carrying
members of the UPA, so TEXAS has not officially
qualified to host an event (because of low
membership). Because players have not joined the UPA,
it looks like we are not really playing much in Texas.


You, or ANYONE are welcome to put in a bid to travel
to the HS Western Tournament. (Just outside of
Seattle in May). Bids are due to the UPA by March
23rd. You can find the directions for placing a bid
on the UPA website. Teams who do not come from
official tourneys will be considered with a proper bid
presentation.

CENTEX is (March 17th---9am-6pm). We are trying to
SANCTION the CENTEX tournament for Texas Youth. We
need to have eight teams who want to come to Austin
for the day and play at UT committed by TOMORROW.
GET YOUR TEAM TO CENTEX.....and join the UPA!
