Texas,
I was just thinking about how I applied for a tryout for the Youth
National Team last year about this time, and I checked the UPA website
but the applications are not up yet. However, I'm sure they will be
soon, and that means that we need a lot of high schoolers to apply so
that the UPA starts to realize that we are serious about our ultimate.
Especially those of you that were on the YCC team and are still in
high school, look for this application (last year it was due Dec. 31,
so it should be up soon right?).
And even if you weren't on that particular team or aren't sure whether
you would want to do all this trying out and such, you can still send
in an application so that we get put on the ultimate youth map.
Hopefully I'll see a bunch of you over the break,
Erec Hillis
