The Annual Texas Physical Educators Conference
Convention Is happening in Fort Worth this year.

We are presenting to PE teachers who convene from all
across the state. We will present a 1.5 hour
workshop and maintain an exhibition booth for the
entire duration of the conference.

It is our goal to encourage schools to put Ultimate
into their MS and HS curricula for physical education
classes. Further, we are encouraging schools to
foster the development of student organized teams and
leagues.

Below is the information we distributed at last years
conference. Thing have changed in Texas over the past
year. We are GROWING!

Please respond with any changes that must be made to
this document before we distribute it across the
state. RESPOND ASAP

What IS Ultimate?
• Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact team sport that
combines the non-stop movement and athletic endurance
of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football.

• Ultimate is played by two seven-player squads with a
high-tech plastic disc on a field similar to football.

• The object of the game is to score by catching a
pass in the opponent’s end zone.
• Players cannot run while in possession of the disc,
but may pivot and pass to other receivers.
• Ultimate is governed by Spirit of the Game, a
tradition of sportsmanship that places the
responsibility for fair play on the players rather
than referees.
• Played in more than 42 countries by hundreds of
thousands of men and women, girls and boys.
