Wednesday is the last day of the month, which means
that THURSDAY is JUNE 1st!

We have an ULTIMATE DAY planned for you, This is the
LAST Invitation to TRY-OUT for TEAM TEXAS. Please, be
sure that all players who may be interested in
representing Texas in the in the UPA YCC are at
Zilker Park (in Austin) by 8:45am on JUNE 1st to
participate in the MAKE-UP Try-out session.

It is recommended that chaperoned transportation be
arranged if you are coming from Dallas or Houston.
All players must complete the waiver to participate in
the June 1st Ultimate Day and are encouraged to join
the UPA ($20 annual dues) Those without a UPA ID
Number should plan to pay a $10 event fee upon arrival
at Zilker Park.

How to prepare for 12 hours of ULTIMATE...

Ultimate players always need a white shirt and a dark
shirt and plenty of water. a refillable container is
recommended. Bring cleats if you have them, and of
course, a disc to throw!

On Thursday, you will also need to bring a bathing
suit and a towel. After we work-out we will cool off
at the nearby Barton Springs ($3 admission required).
We will lunch (noon-2pm) by the Springs---Everyone
bring $5 to buy a THUNDERCLOUD. Texas, Ultimate will
provide drinks and snacks.

Then, we will travel to Marble Falls, a 45 minute
drive west. We will spend an afternoon learning from
the Camp Champions Counselors, who are also ULTIMATE
players at University of Kansas. Bring a change of
Ultimate clothing (a light and dark shirt, extra socks
and a fresh pair of shorts) to put on after swimming.


The evening will culminate with a cook out.
Following our 5pm scrimmage, we will picnic with the
Kansas "Zontals". Please RSVP so that we can order
enough hamburgers and hot dogs for the cook-out!

Expect to be back in Austin at 9pm. Those players
traveling from Dallas our Houston can be housed in
Austin for the evening by local players. Just send
an e-mail throught the website letting us know what
you need!

Don't hesitate to invite you parents and friends to
watch us scrimmage at Camp Champions.
